Do you have a brick and mortar location?

While we don't have a brick and mortar location, we have a showroom and office space located in Surrey, BC.  We would love to have you come in and check out our products, ask questions and grab a coffee for Your Story Coffee.  Our address is 102-18663 52 Avenue in Surrey, BC.

How does The Intersection select artisan partners?

We love our artisan partners!  Building meaningful and lasting relationships with our artisan partners is very important to us at The Intersection.  We desire not to have a transactional, but tranformational relationship with our artisan partners.  This means that we desire not only for the lives of our artisan partners to be transformed, but ours and yours as well!  We believe that ethical business can be impactful at every stage, from harvesting raw materials to the hands and home of a product's final destination.  In light of this, we take care to get to know potential partners and ensure that their mission, values, practices are in line with ours.

Online Ordering FAQ

How do I use my gift card / coupon code online?

Gift Cards
All of our gift cards can be redeemed online.  During checkout there will be an option to use a gift card, simply click and enter the numbers on the back of your gift card into the corresponding box.  This will apply the gift card amount to your order, and you will be able to see it.
Coupon Codes
We regularly offer coupon codes for sales, exclusive offers, and promotion.  Similarly to a gift card there will be an option during checkout to use a coupon code; simply enter the coupon code -for example "SAVE" into the corresponding box.  This will apply the discount to all eligible items, and display your savings.

What are e-gift cards?

E-gift cards are a great solution to these current times, and are simple and easy to use!  When you purchase an e-gift card for someone, simply enter the recipient's email address and the gift card will be sent to them upon purchase.  You will receive a confirmation email and receipt for the e-gift card.  To use an e-gift card, there will be an option at checkout to add a gift card.  Simply input the numbers from the e-gift card into the corresponding box and the gift card amount will be applied to your order.

What is your return policy?

Items can be returned up to 30 days from the date of purchase with the original receipt or proof of online purchase. For sanitary and safety reasons, no health and beauty products or face masks may be returned if they are opened. Items may be returned if they still have their tags, and are in their original condition. The customer is responsible for returning the item to The Intersection: Fair Trade, and items can be refunded or exchanged. All food and drink items are a final sale and can not be returned.​

Shipping & Pickup FAQ

How can I pick up my online order?

All online orders will be available for pickup at our showroom, 102-18663 52 Ave in Surrey, BC. When you arrive, head up the stairs and we will get your order to you! If you are unable to come upstairs, feel free to call our shop at (236) 888-1776 and we would be happy to bring your order down to your car.

Our pickup hours are Monday-Friday from 10-5.

When will my order be shipped / available for pickup?

Pickup Pickup orders are typically ready within 1-3 business days.  You will receive an email when your order is ready to be picked up.

Urgent Orders As a small business, our customers are incredibly important to us.  We want to make your shopping experience as easy as possible, so we want to be able to accommodate rush orders.  If you are in need of your order within 24 hours, send us an email prior to placing your order and we will respond immediately to confirm that we can pick and deliver your order within that time frame.

Shipping We ship Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and we will ship your order within 1-3 business days.  We offer expedited shipping with Canada post.  If you require a quicker shipping method, please contact us prior to ordering with your desired shipping method and we will confirm with you.

We offer flat rate shipping costs dependent on which province or region being shipped to.
